Zodiac Trio presents NEW CD: Dreamtime

The dynamic clarinet-violin-piano ensemble Zodiac Trio releases a new CD dedicated to American contemporary chamber music, with 4 commissioned works, including a special call-for-score project titled "Zodiac: Across the Universe" - a tapestry of 12 one-minute movements by 12 different composers.  Titled DREAMTIME and featuring Vancouver Symphony Orchestra’s principal cellist Ariel Barnes as a guest artist, the new album includes a commissioned piece from Grammy-award winning composer Richard Danielpour "Lamentations," and a work by Andrew List titled "Visions from the Aboriginal Dreamtime," a four movement piece depicting the Aboriginal legend of creation. List’s “Klezmer Fantazye”, also written for the trio, and John Mackey’s “Breakdown Tango” conclude the album.
