Over the years we have recorded literally hundreds and hundreds of student recitals, faculty concerts, audition and competition CDs, job and college application CDs, family recordings, theatrical soundtracks, live shows and just about anything else.

We use the same equipment and provide the same quality service for these projects as we do for our commercial CDs, and some of the international reviews of these commercial releases, besides praising the artists, also talk about the Blue Griffin sound quality.

Locations: With amazing technology getting more and more portable we have recorded live concerts and sessions in any kind of locations possible
- churches (First Presbyterian Church in Downtown Lansing is frequented by our recording set up),
- concert halls (Wharton Center at MSU is being one of the favorites),
- museums (for instance, Museum of African American History in Detroit)
- houses and just about anywhere else!
Sergei has travel for recording sessions to Baltimore, Maryland; Chicago, Illinois; Chautauqua, New York, and to Wisconsin, Louisiana, and all over the state of Michigan.

Most of our sessions, however, are happening in The Ballroom - an incredible studio like you have never seen before. The single largest room in residential Lansing that comfortably seats a hundred people for a private recital, with a feel of a concert hall that can be transformed to sound close and intimate. The glorious Concert Grand Steinway is proudly seated on a stage and can fill up the room with its gorgeous sound, but it can also be turned around for a more subtle and personal sonority.
