NEW REVIEWS:
(Click on the link to read full review)

Sergei Kvitko's Pictures at an Exhibition from "Of Lands and People Far Away" CD is on American Record Guide's Critics' Choice 2008 List as one of the best recordings of the year. (ARG January/February 2009 issue)

The same issue has a review of Quentin Kim's "Romantic Tales" CD, where the reviewer wirtes that Mr. Kim is "a mature artist who gives us a wellchosen recital that is a pleasure to listen to time after time. His range of emotion and color is extraordinary..."

Also Peter Miyamoto's Chopin recording was praised as "quite welcome opportunity to enjoy these venerable works with fresh and very personal interpretations..." with a wonderful nod for the production itself: "Blue Griffin’s piano sound is top-notch; the label has supplied me with a consistent stream of exceptionally enjoyable recordings."

"Dances" CD gets accolades from Fanfare Magazine: "Natalia Khoma is solid of technique and tone, the latter of which she is quite adept at modulating to suit the mood and style of each individual piece. Volodymyr Vynnytsky, in addition to being a technically secure, bold, and characterful pianist, gives evidence of being a very talented composer."

The same issue of Fanfare calls H2 Quartet's debut CD "Generation" "a fine introduction to an ensemble worth following"; and includes a big review of all three CDs from Folias - Tangos Metamorphoses, Marufo Vega and WaterWay
