Rajung Yang, piano (October 3, 2007)

DSC02299.jpgRajung is Doctoral student at University of Michigan where she studies with Arthur Greene. We met last spring when I was recording The University of Michigan Chopin Project concerts at Britton Recital Hall in Ann Arbor. She won quite a few important competitions including the Ibla Grand Prize and Bartok-Kabalevsky-Prokofiev Competitions in Italy. She performed recitals in Italy, New York (Carnegie Hall), Boston, Virginia, and Canada. Last January she won the University of Michigan Concerto Competition.

I was happy to help her to complete the CD of required program for one of her next contests. She is a wonderful pianist and a lot of fun to work with!
