American baritone Stephen Lancaster and French fortepianist Laure Colladant collaborate in this intimate recording of Schumann’s beloved song cycles Dichterliebe, Op. 48 and Liederkreis, Op. 39. Recorded in the salon of the seventeenth century Château du Tertre in Sérigny, France and released by Blue Griffin, this album features a rare, early nineteenth century Filippo Molitor fortepiano.
