"Lands of Enchantment is another in a series of my compositions that draw their inspiration from the stories and landscapes of the American West. Scenery, history, and a sense of place evoke in me certain moods that I seek to convey in music. The title of this suite refers to the New Mexico state nickname, the “Land of Enchantment”, though the plural “Lands” extends the reference to other places that have captivated my imagination."
