Composer William Horne is the Francisco M. Gonzalez Distinguished Professor of Music at Loyola University New Orleans,where he has taught for over thirty years. Hehas written numerous works for small andlarge instrumental ensembles, for the voice,and for various choral ensembles. His musicreflects an interest in traditional forms and hisrecent works, in particular, have been praisedfor their beauty and clarity.
